About the artist
Dr. Daphne Goldberg is a multifaceted artist. By day, she navigates the intricate pathways of medicine as an integrative physician in private practice on the main line. But when the white coat comes off, another side of her emerges—a soul deeply attuned to the rhythms of music and the beauty of visual art.
Music has always been Daphne’s sanctuary. She writes, sings, engineers and produces music. Her compositions speak to the depths of human emotion, weaving tapestries of sound that transport listeners to other realms. Together with world class musicians, including Eric Bazilian of The Hooters, several members of the Paul Simon band - Bakithi Kumalo, Biodun Kuti and Jamey Haddad – and Eric Wortham, who plays with Adele, she has co-created The One People Band. A musical project about peace, social justice and earth preservation through music.
Daphne’s artistic journey didn't end with music. Drawn to the vibrant hues of the visual world, she ventured into the realm of painting, where she discovered a new language for her emotions. Her canvases are a radiant and colorful reflection of her soul's whispers. Through her paintings, she invites others to share in her world, to find meaning in the abstract shapes and swirling colors that adorn her work.
In a fusion of her passions for art and nature, she crafts stunning jewelry using seashells, stones, and copper piano wire. Each piece is a testament to her love for the Earth's beauty, a celebration of its treasures woven into wearable art. With delicate hands, she transforms raw materials into brightly colored intricate designs, infusing each creation with a touch of her own magic.
